This converted digital camera is for sale. It provides fun and interesting insights into infrared photography - red wine looks like clear water, plants shine brightly, hidden copy protection on banknotes becomes visible, a remote control shines like a flashlight, etc.
This camera has the option of manually adjusting the white balance. Thus, it not only produces a bluish to pink/red image, but also the depicted color. "Normal" images are no longer possible. To obtain a "real" infrared photo with a blue sky, further steps are necessary on the PC (red-blue inversion using a channel mixer in Photoshop, possibly further editing; instructions can be found on the Internet).
